Algolware has a little twist on the traditional DVR. In their case they package it directly into the monitor along with some wifi ip cameras to an easy DIY or retrofit installation. The monitor is touchscreen. Only supports up to 4 cameras though (CCD for outdoor & CMOS for indoor). Says it uses h.264 and can record for over a month before recycling video. Some kind of iphone/ipad app for mobile access. Link info after the break.
